The entity's purposes are to enable and/or otherwise facilitate the provision of charitable services in the takiwā of the shareholders including but not limited to cultural, health and welling, social and economic services to Ngāi Tahu whānau and enabling papatipu rūnanga within the takiwā of the shareholders to participate in the health reforms set out in the Pae Ora (Healthy Futures) Act 2022, includig establishing localities under the Act and ensuring the equity in health outcomes for Maori.
