Te Moata Charitable Trust

i. To manage the land and buildings known as Te Moata for the Charitable Purposes; ii. To establish and maintain at the Te Moata property an educational and retreat centre for the study and practice of Insight Meditation and other educational, health and spiritual practices, thereby advancing education and learning; iii. To bring to New Zealand international insight meditation teachers of the highest calibre; iv. To provide facilities where individuals and groups may learn meditation which is designed to enhance the development of the deepest levels of insight through silent and structured practice; v. To provide for the maintenance, future development and financial management of these facilities in perpetuity; vi. To provide for the care and regeneration of the native bush with the Te Moata property and observe the protection conditions of the QEII National Trust Covenant , and to assist with the development, awareness and appreciation of environmental issues.
