- To promote, protect and preserve NZ's natural environment, biodiversity and ecological resilience by establishing the Te Manahuna Aoraki area as predator free by suppressing and eradicating pests and weeds from the project area, and translocating and supporting threatened species to enable flora and fauna to flourish. - To work with iwi, the Mackenzie community, local councils, and other relevant groups to achieve the above. - To provide an exemplar of landscape scale collaborative impact.
