Providing for and promoting restoration, protection and strengthening of whānau. Assisting persons appearing before the Courts and in Police, Social Welfare of Department of Corrections custody in respect of their rehabilitation and providing support for their families. The teaching and learning of all aspects of Māori culture including Māori language, arts and crafts, and the establishment of centres for such learning purposes.
