To foster speaking, reading and writing of the Māori Language; b) To provide and promote, through the medium of the Māori Language, instruction in: • Māori arts, crafts, values, genealogy and history; • the preservation and conservation of New Zealand's natural resources; • individual self-reliance, health and economic stability; • parenting skills; and • non-violent conflict resolution. c) To organise Māori language learning programmes; d) To encourage and support Māori language learning groups
