3.1 TAW’s purposes are to: a) educate New Zealand youth about climate change, and in particular educate tangata whenua and Pasifika youth within New Zealand about climate change for the benefit of the New Zealand community; b) facilitate and support collaboration between people and organisations in New Zealand around climate change policy and related issues for the benefit of the community; and c) achieve any other purposes within New Zealand (whether relating to the relief of poverty, the advancement of education or religion, or any other benefit to the community) that are charitable under applicable New Zealand law.
