Te Ara ki te reo ki Kuirau Charitable Trust

Te Ara ki te Reo ki Kuirau is a total immersion Māori early childhood c e n t r e, based on te Reo Māori me nga tikanga whanau programme for children from birth to 6 years of age. The programme is drawn from a holistic perspective and based on child-centred learning. We believe that children learn through play and recognize that spontaneity plays a major part in early childhood education. We aim to maintain low child/adult ratios to ensure that our children reach their full potential, ‘to grow up as confident and competent individuals, healthy in mind, body and spirit, secure in their sense of belonging and fully aware of the potential they have in society’. To provide total immersion te reo education for tamariki here in Te Arawa.
