To promote the wellbeing and resilience of children, youth, families, and communities through inclusive cultural, educational, and creative initiatives that deliver public benefit, including addressing the harmful impacts of drug and alcohol misuse, war, mental ill-health, and related social challenges. The Trust recognises that Māori experience disproportionate impacts in relation to these issues. While inclusive of all peoples and communities, the Trust’s activities respond to demonstrated need and vulnerability across Aotearoa New Zealand. In accordance with the Trust Deed and Rules, the Trust utilises the power of music and the arts as professional tools for education, engagement, and positive social change. The Trust engages and remunerates professional practitioners to deliver community programmes, public events, fundraising initiatives, and cross-cultural collaborations, including through aligned charitable initiatives such as the Now Is The Time project.
