Te Ahiwaru Trust

• To enable Te Ahiwaru Trust to financially support its representative/s in building the capacity of Te Ahiwaru and Makaurau Marae by ensuring cultural resources, taonga, site of significance and its presence in Tamaki Makaurau are effectively recognised and preserved; • To enable Te Ahiwaru Trust to seek and / or support initiatives or training opportunities that promote & foster economic, social and educational advancement; • To enable Te Ahiwaru Trust to seek opportunities and / or support initiatives that develop and /or improve the facilities of Makaurau Marae for the benefit of its beneficiaries and members of the public that use the Marae facilities; • To enable Te Ahiwaru Trust to seek opportunities and / or support initiatives and activities of Makaurau Marae Sub-Committees including Te Kohanga Reo O Makaurau Marae that promote whanau activities which may include other Marae, Waikato Iwi, local schools, Waananga and community groups.
