Taupo Pathways for Youth Employment Trust

The purpose of Taupō Pathways, as per the Trust Deed, is to undertake, facilitate, and promote initiatives and programmes that advance education, training, employment, and positive activities for young people under the age of twenty-five (25) in the Taupō District. In particular, Taupō Pathways’ purpose is to: (1) Encourage and assist young people in the Taupō District to gain employment and career opportunities. (2) Provide, co-ordinate and assist in the improvement of, and access to, employment training and education for young people in the District. (3) Enable, encourage and assist young people in the District to complete their training requirements and otherwise acquire the skills and motivation to improve their job eligibility. (4) Undertake and support the development of young people initiatives and programmes that encourage and assist in the holistic development of young people in the District. (5) Encourage and facilitate co-operation and networking with other parties.
