Taupo Lake Care Incorporated

The objects of Taupo Lake Care Incorporated (TLC ) are: To promote and advance sustainable, viable and flexible farming systems and practices within the Lake Taupo catchment, To advise, educate and consult with community and other interest groups in relation to Lake Taupo water care issues, and To promote the interests of farmers and the community generally in relation to Lake Taupo water care issues. Financial membership comes from pastoral farmers in the Lake Taupo catchment and others from the wider community. Other individuals and organizations with a commitment to TLC’s objectives, and providing in-kind support and services, form our non-financial membership. Current activities: TLC operates a regular newsletter to members, both financial and non-financial. This newsletter covers current farming activities such as field days, research progress, and other matters relating to the maintenance of water quality of Lake Taupo.
