Takutai Charitable Trust

The primary purpose of the Trust is to enable, support and connect the local community, with a particular focus on, but not limited to, the vulnerable, disenfranchised groups, and new people to the area, through a range of activities, events and initiatives. The Trust will also work to promote and inform the local community about environmental issues, and where possible, assist in the development of local solutions, through a range of initiatives and activities. In pursuit of its objectives, the Trust will: Develop and implement a range of activities, events and initiatives to facilitate community involvement, connection and interaction; Identify and implement mechanisms by which the Trust can support Mental Health issues in the community; Identify and develop initiatives to support enhanced inclusion of the elderly within the community; Develop initiatives to support the inclusion of minority groups, vulnerable or disenfranchised peoples, into the community.
