To foster, promote, publicise and encourage the use of the principles and practices on the New Zealand Maori Wardens. To assist whanau, hapu, iwi in need by utilising their own skills and expertise, To support, nurture and encourage the rangatahi (youth) of the region to gain a new sense of direction towards responsible adulthood through an understanding and use of the kaupapa. To maintain and develop an appropriate relationship with all Maori Wardens who belong to the New Zealand Maori Wardens.
