The objects of THE SOCIETY shall be to carry out charitable purposes in New Zealand, whether relating to the relief of poverty, the advancement of education, religion, or any other purpose beneficial to the community, and subject always to these fundamentally charitable objects. The objects of THE SOCIETY shall include: The conservation, preservation, restoration, advancement, maintenance and perpetuation of the Hapu of Tamareheroto, Ngati Pukeko, Ngati Iti; their spiritual, cultural and physical wellbeing and values. The conservation, preservation, restoration, advancement, maintenance and perpetuation of the Tamareheroto, Ngati Pukeko, Ngati Iti lands, historic sites and buildings. To provide assistance for the promotion, research, recording and learning of Nga Rauru and Te Wainui-a Rua history, tikanga and traditions.
