Sustainable Initiatives Aotearoa

Purposes: 1. To strengthen ecological sustainability and improvement of the environment through public education on the importance of the environment and the actions necessary for its conservation. 2. To improve the standard of living and opportunities for low income and vulnerable groups, through public education on the importance of addressing poverty reduction and improving social well-being, and the actions necessary. 3. To undertake research, hold meetings, publish materials, publicise the work of the Trust, undertake outreach and perform other activities in fulfilment of the above objectives. Sustainable Initiatives Aotearoa has a focus on educating and engaging the public on how their actions as ethical investors can improve ecological and social conditions. Research has shown this to be one of the most powerful ways that individuals can improve sustainability.
