Steiner Education Development Foundation

The activities of the Foundation are to be carried out, and the Trust Fund is to be applied, for exclusively charitable purposes, whether relating to the relief of poverty, the advancement of education, the advancement of religion, or any other matter beneficial to the community, including, without limitation: (a) supporting the general development in New Zealand of the approach to education indicated by Rudolf Steiner (Rudolf Steiner Education may also be known as Waldorf Education); (b) improving the recognition and uptake of Rudolf Steiner Education, for example amongst universities; (c) encouraging and facilitating the education and professional development of Rudolf Steiner/Waldorf teachers, particularly high school teachers; and (d) providing Steiner schools with the tools and resources needed for students to move into tertiary education without compromising the distinctive Steiner educational approach
