a) To propagate the Hindu Religion in New Zealand among those who profess Hinduism; b) To promote the religious, spiritual and cultural welfare of the Hindu community in New Zealand; c) To construct, develop, provide, maintain and operate the Sri Ganesha Temple in Christchurch, New Zealand. d) To construct, develop, provide, maintain and operate any Hindu Temple in Canterbury or any part of New Zealand e) To celebrate Hindu festivals in New Zealand on such dates and at such times as they may fall due and in such manner as is prescribed by the Hindu scriptures and rites. f) To conduct religious classes, Indian language classes and to invite Hindu Theologians to give lectures pertaining to Hinduism in New Zealand. g) To conduct and facilitate Hindu marriages, fulfilment of vows, cultural activities in New Zealand according to the Hindu scriptures and rites. h) To help preserve, promote and foster Indian culture using this facility working alongside all Hindu groups in the Canterbury re
