Spiral Collectives Trust is a Trust charity in the Education sector, based in Wellington, Wellington. Annual revenue: $0.0M NZD. Financial data as at April 2025.
Mission: We educate about women and nonbinary people's creative practices and legacies, and support them through publications, exhibitions, events, moving image, websites and archives. We've created, supported and held public spaces for work by women artists and writers for 50 years. To provide educational resources to all, we maintain and protect our archives in the Alexander Turnbull Library and offer our publications without costs, online at the Christchurch Art Gallery. We have undertaken significant research this year as part of our upcoming 50th anniversary which has been made available on our new website at spiralcollectives.org and at public institutions. Building on our legacy of Keri Hulme's the bone people, we have embarked upon a significant project developing a graphic novel of Keri's book, which sees a new generation reimagining this title in a new format, in conjunction with Keri's whanau. We amplify work by women and nonbinary creatives on social media whenever we can.
