The purposes of the SBV will be to: • provide a medium for choir members through music making where the whanaungatanga, the positive relationships that grow between members as they learn and sing together, are a valued part of the kaupapa. The manaakitanga, the wellbeing of each member, is supported both in conversations at rehearsal breaks, as well as during rehearsal when less confident members receive assistance to make music together, which satisfies both performer and audience. • educate members in order to hold concerts that advance public appreciation of music • to undertake other activities consistent with these objectives Any income, benefit, or advantage must be used to advance the charitable purposes of the SBV.
