The role of the The Shelly Park Parent teacher Association key aims and objectives are: SOCIAL To be beneficial to the community by providing activities for children, parents, families and staff on a regular basis. eg School Discos, Pool Party, welcoming new familes. To encourage cooperation, liasion and fellowship among PTA members, Board of Trustee (BOT) members and teaching staff and support families at times of special need. FUNDRAISING To advance education by raising monies for the support of the school. When necessary a sub-committee is formed by members of the PTA, BOT, Staff and members of the wider school community for major school development activities and projects. EDUCATION To advance education by providing a forum for the exchange of ideas among school staff and other interested persons. To provide evenings for parents, teachers, and the wider community. To publish newsletters weekly to assist with communication of ideas, opinions and activities within the school.
