Servants to Asia's Urban Poor Incorporated

a) To enable Christian missionaries to initiate, assist and establish indigenous churches, fellowships and discipling movements particularly aomong Asia's urban poor. This is an expression of Jesus' own mission, to 'preach the gospel to the poor' and 'make disciples of all nations'. b) To associate together those who seek to know the Lord Jesus Christ more intimately and walk in his footsteps, through lives of obedience and devotion, renunciation, service to the poor of Asia's slums, preaching the gospel to the poor, seeking to do justice amongst the poor, and love. c) To be a catalyst, motivating New Zealand churches to ministry to the poor, simple sacrificial lifestyle, doing justice and disciplemaking. d) To designate and channel aid for disaster relief and community development needs to Christian communities and other needy groups in the slums of Asia, acting independently or in co-operation with other organisations and/or government agencies.
