Sammy's Snowboarding Scholarship Charitable Trust

(a) to enhance access to the pursuit of amateur snowboarding for young New Zealanders who demonstrate interest and commitment to the sport, by providing coaching, education, opportunities for personal development and other ancillary support; (b) encourage interest and increase access to snowboarding for the general public as a means to: (i) promote personal health, wellbeing and resilience; (ii) educate on, and encourage interest in, the protection and conservation of the natural flora and fauna of Aotearoa New Zealand’s mountain scenery; and (c) host snowboarding competitions or other snow-boarding-related events from time to time, for the purposes of fundraising for or otherwise furthering the other Objectives of the Trust. (d) otherwise support any Charitable Purpose (including supporting, by donation or otherwise, any person), whether such object relates to the relief of poverty, the advancement of education, or to any other matter beneficial to the community.
