 To provide individuals wishing to establish themselves in farming (particularly Hill Country farming within the communities serviced by the Trust) opportunities to: • Work and/or study to gain farming education • Lease Trust farms  To benefit education and/or research in agriculture, in particular initiatives relevant to Hill Country farming  To provide support and encourage the recruitment or retention of skilled persons which the Trustees consider advantageous to the Rural Communities serviced by the Trust  To promote education, welfare and development within the communities serviced by the Trust  To promote sporting and cultural interests within the communities serviced by the Trust  To actively grow the Trust’s capital based on: • Sound investment • Positive management policies • Attracting bequests and donations
