Ruataniwha Marae is a Maori Reservation,(Te Rato 3D3C1 & 3X19) and exists as a charitable organisation to cater for the Social, Cultural, Spiritual and economic requirements of it's Beneficiaries in terms of: The fostering of internal whanau/hapu relations The development of relationships with whanau hapu enhancing the meanings of whanaungatanga To administer and Maintain a) Marae for Tangi and Hui b) Urupa for burial grounds For and on behalf of its beneficiaries; Ngati Iwikatere, Ngati Iwikatea, Ngati Pakoko, Ngati Pehi, Ngai Tauira, Ngati Rua and Ngai TeKapuamatotoru.
