RTA (Road Traffic Accident) Trauma Charitable Trust trading as National Road Trauma Centre

The Trust shall operate for exclusively charitable purposes namely: a) to provide information to persons affected by any road traffic accident associated trauma, anxiety or distress (including but not limited to post trauma stress disorder and acute stress disorder) and road safety. b) to educate the general public about road traffic accident associated trauma, including physical injuries, prolonged impairment, serious and prolonged disfigurement c) to promote the recognition and treatment of the same among health and industry professionals; d) to provide support to persons affected by the same; e) to operate to a referral service for any persons affected by the same; and f) to do any other things which the Trustees consider necessary or desirable to further the charitable purposes of the Trust. Subordinate to the above, the Trust may also advocate for legal recognition of the support needs of those suffering from road traffic accident associated trauma.
