The Purpose of the Society is to: a) To administer the centre as a community and cultural centre b) To encourage the use of the Centre as a community and cultural centre. c) To promote, produce, organise or participate in the production and performance of exhibitions, programmes, drama, theatre festivals and any other entertainments of any description for the benefit of the community and members of the Society. d) To promote and foster the study of the theatre and of all the crafts thereof and to provide studios, workshops, rehearsal rooms, theatres and theatrical and stage equipment of every kind. e) To provide and encourage social activity for members of the Society and others and to afford privileges, advantages and accommodation of a club. f) To promote, communicate and liaise between the various groups using the Centre, the Hamilton City Council and its business units. g) To encourage the use of the Centre in every way possible to promote theatre, arts and crafts, drama
