Mission: We are historically a hapu based Marae and therefore our longevity is maintained as descendants of the Marae. Poupatate Marae represents the interests of Ngati Pikiahu Waewae hapu. The Marae is also recognised and used as a Civil Defence Outpost by Horizons Regional Council, and used on a regular basis by Wananga, Universities, Schools, Kohanga Reo, Churches and many other community groups.
