The Purpose of the Trust is to create, develop, produce and promote fine arts films encompassing areas including but not limited to, music (classical and contemporary, choral, vocal and instrumental) creative writing and literature, theatre, visual and performing arts, costume design, heritage and architecture. Provide film opportunities for emerging as well as established artists with a special emphasis on showcasing Dunedin talent and locations, encouraging inclusive and interdisciplinary artistic collaborations. Provide local cultural opportunities and artistic experience for the benefit and education of the whole community, including film screening opportunities for local audiences as well as to actively seek wider promotion in festivals and distribution. Increase and enhance arts development through film, enabling and encouraging diverse community participation.
