Perinatal Support Nelson Incorporated

Nelson Tasman Perinatal Support, is a small not-for-profit organisation that supports women and their families/whanau that are experiencing Perinatal Distress before & after the birth of a baby. We have been operating in the Nelson/Tasman districts for 35 years and provide services that are free and confidential. To develop, nurture and support an effective organisation that: I. Supports women experiencing perinatal depression/distress/anxiety in a confidential and caring environment II. Supports families/ whanau, and liaises with health professionals who have contact with women experiencing perinatal depression III. Encourages society to change its attitudes towards and become more understanding of women experiencing perinatal depression Through the various services that we provide, we are helping the mother, the baby, the family/whanau unit and the community as a whole.
