To support people in the Thames/Coromandel and Hauraki districts who have a loved one experiencing mental illness and/or addiction. To provide caregiver support meetings throughout the service region, to liaise with mental health professionals to ensure that family/whanau needs and rights are recognised as having a vital role to play in the well-being of the family unit, to promote better understanding of mental illness and addiction by the public through educational programmes, workshops and discussions within the community, to provide retreats, workshops and relevant resources free of charge and to work always with cultural sensitivity and acknowledgement of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
