Constitution, Clause 2.1: "To preserve and to maintain in functional condition the invested 1923 Palmerston North Electric Power Station sited in Keith Street, Palmerston North, adjoining the Terrace End Cemetery. Furthermore it is to acquire any compatible electrical and mechanical items that are to be preserved for posterity, and that can be put on show for the public on open days."
