Owhakatoro Marae

The objects of the Trust shall be: - To govern, administer and preserve Owhakatoro Marae (the Marae) with the support of the beneficiaries - To apply any income received in relation to the Marae for the purposes of promoting health, social, cultural, traditional, spiritual, economic welfare, education and the general advancement in the life of the beneficiaries a) to maintain and develop the Marae in a strategic and collaborative manner b) to provide sufficient funding for insurance, general administration and security of the Marae c) to promote and enhance whānau ora / health among whānau, hapū and community of Owhakatoro, Ruatoki d) to develop and promote the social, cultural, traditional, spiritual, economic welfare, environmental well being of Owhakatoro hapū and community e) to establish and promote educational and employment opportunities for the whānau, hapū and community of Owhakatoro f) to develop and promote any other charitable purpose as the Marae Trustees determine
