Otatara Community Centre Trust

To plan, establish and build a community centre at Otatara in the interests of social welfare and of all members of the Otatara community and the pupils of Otatara School with the object of impoving the conditions of life in the Otatara community. To encourage and provide facilities for the promotion of sport in the form of a community centre catering for but not limited to basketball, netball, volleyball, tennis and school sport. To include in the community centre a stage and meeting areas for the use of visiting entertainers, speakers and for community and social events. To provide for the advancement of education to promote, encourage, provide and cater for lectures, classes of instruction and other related activities in the community centre.
