Otago Scout Endowment Trust

(a) To encourage the physical, mental, social and spiritual development of young people in Otago by fostering the Scouting movement in Otago; (b) To utilize, maintain and operate the Assets for the general benefit of persons being members of the Settlor residing in Otago in the areas shown on the attached map; (c) Without restricting the scope of the foregoing, to provide financial assistance, including grants, scholarships, prizes and endowments to persons residing in Otago in the areas referred to in subclause (b) to enable those people to further their education and life skills through membership of the Scout movement; (d) To facilitate and encourage the development of scouting and the Scout movement in Otago; (e) To undertake any other charitable purposes related to the foregoing objects which the Trustees deem desirable.
