Oriental Bay Residents Association Incorporated

The purpose of the Association is to: (a) Provide an Association in which Residents are able to express to the local authority or controlling body the majority opinion on issues relevant to residents of the suburb of Oriental Bay, Herd Street, Clyde Quay Wharf and the immediate public areas, taking into account the common interests with the public at large. (b) Advise the membership of Council policy effecting the area and solicit membership views. (c) Foster community spirit through services and co-operation in the achievements of the objects of the Association. (d) Seek to improve the area as a better place to live and effect where necessary, support, for improvement in public property, amenities and services. (e) Support where deemed expedient interest of other groups who adopt similar policies consistent with the Association's aims (f) Be non-party political, non-sectarian, in all its activities and deliberations.
