To protect, develop and maintain the natural features and landscapes of Oamaru and North Otago. To make parks, places of historical significance and places of natural beauty accessible to the public. To promote education of these places. To encourage the public to participate and foster any of the above objectives. These goals are achieved by funding suitable projects.
