TRUST: North Shore Buddhist Temple North Shore, Auckland, New Zealand The Trust Purposes: Aims and Objectives The aims and objectives of the Trust (The Trust Purposes) are as follows: i. Unveil the true Dhamma, the doctrine/teachings of Buddha that lead to a content, peaceful, compassionate and healthy present life and help achieve the ultimate spiritual goal of Nibbana. ii. Promote and facilitate the development of an individual to become a Sathpurusha: a virtuous/worthy person, a person of integrity. iii. To establish and maintain a Buddhist temple as a place of Buddhist worship and for practicing of Buddhist religious activities: Moral Conduct (Seela), Mental Discipline (Samadhi) and Wisdom (Panňa). iv. Organize and conduct cultural and religious ceremonies and activities. v. Promote and facilitate the propagation of Buddhist practices of higher moral conduct and assist the understanding and learning of Buddha’s teachings through sermons, discussions, websites and other
