Ngatotoiti Urupa Komiti Incorporated

The objects for which Ngatotoiti Urupa Komiti Incorporated has been established and is continued shall promote, for the benfit of the members, any purpose within New Zealand which is charitable according to the laws of New Zealand. These purposes include: (a) To promote the establishment of our hapū Ngāti Moetonga and Te Rokekā; (b) To promote and support initiatives for the spiritual, cultural, economic, educational and social advancement of the hapū Ngāti Moetonga and Te Rokekā; (c) To provide employment for the unemployed people of the hapū Ngati Moetonga and Te Rokekā; (d) To develop a sense of whanaungatanga (sense of belonging) by motivating a cultural awareness of Tikanga Māori amongst Ngāti Moetonga and Te Rokekā by ensuring the preservation, promotion and development of hapū history, language and kaupapa; (e) To provide means of regular communication between whanau of the hapū of Ngāti Moetonga and Te Rokekā; (f) To do anything else that would further any of these aims.
