Ngati Rangatahi Whanaunga (Association)

To promote, preserve and revive Ngati Rangatahi as a visible hapu. To establish and maintain a Ngati Rangatahi Register of all descendants near and far. To promote and secure customary rights under Te Tiriti o Waitangi. To conserve, protect and assist in the development of projects that will co-exist with the whenua (land), moana (sea), awa (rivers), the flora and fauna, all native creatures (including fish); thereby, utilizing the land and the sea for the benefit of all; To promote and secure Ngati Rangatahi histories & tikanga through education projects and to protect kaumatua & kuia as our taonga (treasure) To consider and discuss such matters as appear relevant to the social and economic advancement of the Ngāti Rangatahi and in particular, to assist in the maintenance and development of all Ngāti Rangatahi marae That include: Education & training Linking to existing activities in the community Marae environment Outreach services – Rural Isolation
