To promote and advance the conservation of lands in all parts of New Zealand, with a particular focus on the Ruahine Ranges. To encourage and promote all forms of education, instruction in and study of ecology, environmental protection and conservation generally. To maintain and improve the health of the indigenous ecosystems on the land owned by the Society in the western Ruahine Ranges.
