Mission: We support choice, and provide guidance on whānau led, affordable and natural funerals to strengthen whānau and community’s preparedness for dying, death, loss and grief. Purposes: 1. enable whānau and communities to play a central role in after-death care of their loved ones 2. provide education on natural burial, caring for te taiao and planning for end-of-life and death 3. support funeral guides with training, resources and equipment 4. Minimise costs before, during and after death
