To: • protect the culture, wāhi tapu & wāhi taonga sites of Puketapu Hapū • educate about whakapapa & history • establish, maintain & develop marae • train & educate tamariki and rangatahi • provide scholarships/support for educational, vocational, cultural sporting and outdoor pursuits • assist with relief of poverty • advance te reo, tikanga, Puketaputanga and the cultural & economic activities/aspirations of Uri in need • maintain/improve health of Uri o Puketapu Hapu
