We promote the teaching of New Zealand Sign Language to the general public and encourage members to meet high standards through quality teaching practice. We support tutors and teachers of New Zealand Sign Language and maintain uniform standards for teaching throughout New Zealand, and maintain a register of tutors and teachers of New Zealand Sign Language.
