The New Zealand Korean School Trust was established in 2013 as a registered charitable entity under the Charities Act 2005, building upon the history of the New Zealand Korean School of Wellington founded in 1988. The Trust exists exclusively for charitable purposes in New Zealand. Its primary purpose is to support and govern the operation of the New Zealand Korean School of Wellington by: Identifying and responding to the educational needs of current and prospective students; Providing financial and/or other assistance where necessary to enhance and maintain the quality of education offered; Ensuring that the School delivers high-quality educational services that promote cultural understanding, community wellbeing, and the advancement of education for the Korean and wider community in New Zealand. The Trust is committed to using its resources solely for these charitable purposes, in accordance with New Zealand law.
