The objectives and purpose of the trust will be fulfilled by undertaking the following activities: provide the opportunity for people of all ages to discover their musical talents; provide music training and education to anyone that in the various communities who wish to increase their knowledge and ability in performing Chinese music and performing arts; promote social, cultural and economic welfare of the society in general by way of seminar, meetings, conferences and social activities; provide high quality performances, social functions and concerts to raise awareness of the Chinese performing arts while arising fund to help people in need in the social community; provide opportunities for overseas performers to train local talent and perform in concerts for NZ audiences; provide an opportunity for local performers to perform both nationally and internationally; build a cultural bridge and strengthen communication between Chinese immigrants and the local community through
