New Zealand Chemistry Olympiad Trust

(a) To foster and support chemistry in New Zealand with emphasis on the enrichment of the learning of chemistry in all facets; (b) To select and train students from secondary schools in New Zealand in preparation for the International Chemistry Olympiad and similar competitions; (c) To raise funds to subsidise or fund the selection, training and participation of New Zealand teams in the International Chemistry Olympiad and similar competitions; (d) To undertake other activities to give selected groups of high achieving senior secondary school students experience of chemistry beyond the high school curricula; (e) To publicise the participation and achievements of students involved in the training and at the International Chemistry Olympiad and similar competitions; (f) To support and promote other activities which will in the opinion of the Trustees further the public learning, knowledge and enrichment of chemistry.
