To promote the art and craft of embroidery. To educate people to participate in embroidery and, having done that, to achieve and maintain a high standard of work. To provide resources and information on embroidery, e.g. Personal tuition, books, sampler’s portfolios etc. To hold monthly meetings for interchange of ideas and to keep up with developing trends in embroidery as well as maintaining the skill of traditional techniques.
