To promote, advance and develop the teaching and learning of the art of music in Napier; to promote the education, training and knowledge of pupils in Napier learning the art of music; to establish, support or administer scholarships, bursaries, sponsorships, funds, grants, prizes, awards, trophies or memorials that may benefit the teaching and learning of the art of music in Napier; and to generally promote the educational and cultural pursuit of the art of music in Napier.
