Nevertheless Trust

The vision of the Trust is to empower Māori, Pasifika & Rainbow+ peoples to be free to be seen, heard and be their authentic selves. This vision will be fulfilled through the mission of the Trust which is to disrupt (manioro) stigma with connection, and shame with love specifically for the aforementioned communities. In particular the Trust will: 3.1 Disrupt toxic narratives and stereotypes surrounding identity; 3.2 Promote creativity as a healthy coping mechanism for wellbeing; 3.3 Nurture the vā with iwi Māori and Pacific communities; 3.4 Provide rainbow+ positive spaces with access to resources and support; 3.5 Empower to innovate and create pathways for aspiration and employment.
