Navy League Canterbury (NZ) Incorporated
About
The purpose of the Navy League Canterbury is to promote a maritime strategy and to educate the New Zealand public in the importance of the Maritime Environment for New Zealand's security and economic welfare, at the same time championing New Zealand's maritime security and defence. Further, we encourage New Zealand youth in the sea and maritime affairs by supporting initiatives that provide sea-going and related training for young people particularly the sea-cadet corps for New Zealand and to assist in the welfare of ex-Naval personnel in the Canterbury region. And at all times to do such lawful things as are incidental or conducive to the attainment of the above objects, provided that the Society remains politically non-partisan. There are four classes of members, Ordinary, Corporate, Honorary and Life.
